Terms written to be readable, not evasive.

By using OneLocked, you agree to these terms. We keep them as clear as we can because trust is harder to build when the legal layer feels intentionally opaque.

1. Account terms

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use OneLocked.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your master password.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide a valid email address to complete registration.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

2. Acceptable use

  • You may use OneLocked to store and manage sensitive information for lawful purposes.
  • You must not attempt to bypass or disable security features.
  • You must not interfere with the integrity or performance of the service.
  • You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data.
  • You must not use OneLocked to facilitate illegal activity.

3. Payment & billing

  • Free tier accounts remain free forever with no hidden charges.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan from the product settings.
  • Downgrading may reduce features or available capacity.
  • Refunds are available within 30 days of the initial purchase for annual plans.

4. Intellectual property

  • OneLocked and its original product content remain the property of OneLocked.
  • Your vault data remains your property.
  • You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or modify the application without prior written consent except where applicable law permits otherwise.

5. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time from the product settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.
  • Upon termination, encrypted data is removed according to the product’s deletion process.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before involuntary termination when appropriate.

6. Limitation of liability

  • OneLocked is provided on an ‘as is’ basis without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • In no event shall OneLocked be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Because the product is designed around a zero-knowledge model, we cannot recover a lost master password for you.

7. Changes to terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time.
  • Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
  • Continued use of OneLocked after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
  • If you do not agree with a material change, you may close your account before the new terms take effect.
